Who Am I?
Hey y’all, my name is Sean and if you couldn’t already tell I have a passion for reading and writing. Let me share a few fun facts about myself:
- My 3 favorite places to be are the Library, the gym, and Church. I especially love the Library as evident by my collection of 5 library cards.
- If I’m not at any of those 3 places, I’m most likely outside enjoying Gods creation
- I have a 2003 Suburban named William that I currently live/travel the country in. I’m currently working on a travel blog to document my travels.
- I am a proud uncle of 2 beautiful nieces who I cherish very much.
Why did I start Lucky Reads?
My personal decision to start this blog was due to myself already having a passion not only for reading and writing, but also for writing about what I read. I’m a life long learner and I believe the best way to learn is to teach. That’s why I’ve always written in my own words and with more to add after I’ve read something. I’ve yet to share my own insights with anybody else other than myself though. That’s why I’ve decided to start this blog. I desire to be a life long learner and I desire to share what I’ve learned with others.
!Please Read!
I want to make it clear that I do not intend to write reviews nor summaries of the books that I am sharing. Instead I am sharing insights that I’ve gained from reading. These insights can be viewed as an idea soup within my brain that I’m pouring out.
On top of this, I want to add that this a personal blog and just like that everybody I have my own biases and beliefs. I will try my best not to let personal politics or belief muddle with my writing but it is bound to happen. To be upfront and transparent I will share my beliefs here:
- I am a child of God and believe that Jesus Christ is King
- I have political beliefs that swing across both sides but I’d like to label myself as a Social Libertarian. I believe that everyone has the freedom to live their lives as they please and I believe it’s the governments responsablity to take care of it’s people. Not Corporations!
- Even though I am Christian I believe members of the LGBT community need to be treated with respect and with love as Jesus loves all of us.
